This Instrument may be cited as the Electoral Commission (Appointment of Date of Completion of Update of Voters' Register in Kyadondo County North Constituency. Wakiso District) Instrument. 2008.

2. Appointment of completion date

The 24th day of October. 2008, is hereby appointed as the date upon which the Commission shall complete the exercise of updating the Voters' Register for purposes of the by-election in Kyadondo County North Constituency. Wakiso District.

3. No application accepted after appointed date

THE SUPPLEMENTARY APPROPRIATION ACT, 2008.

An Act to make supplementary appropriation out of the Consolidated Fund under section 16 of the Public Finance and Accountability Act, 2003, of a sum of two hundred twenty six billion, seven hundred fifty five million, six hundred sixty five thousand shillings only to meet additional expenditures for the first, second, third and fourth quarters of the financial year 2007/2008.

THE APPROPRIATION ACT, 2008.

An Act to apply a sum of five thousand seven hundred and thirty eight billion, four hundred and two million, seventy five thousand shillings out of the Consolidated Fund to the service of the year ending on the 30th June, 2009 and to appropriate the supplies granted.

Date of Commencement: 1st July, 2008.

BE It EnaCtED by Parliament as follows:

1. Commencement

this act shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of July, 2008.

2. Issue of money out of the Consolidated Fund. the treasury may issue out of the Consolidated fund and apply towards the supply granted to the Government for the service of the year ending on the 30th June, 2009, the sum of five thousand seven hundred and thirty eight billion, four hundred and two million, seventy five thousand shillings.

3. Appropriation

the sums granted by this act shall be appropriated for the services and purposes and in the amounts specified in columns 1 and 2 of the schedule to this act.

4. Extension of duration of appropriation

any part of the sums granted by section 2 of this act which has been, or is issued from the Consolidated fund on or before the 30th day of June, 2009 shall be available until a date determined by the secretary to the treasury (not being later than the 31st day of October, 2009) for making payments which become due during the year ending on the 30th day of June, 2009 to an accounting officer or a receiver of revenue or to an officer administering a fund established under section 9 of the Public finance and accountability act, 2003.

Under Section 19(8)(b) of the Electoral Commission Act, Cap 140. Lx exercise of the powers conferred upon the Minister under section 19(8)(b) of the Electoral Commission Act, Cap 140, this Instrument is made this 17th day of October, 2008.

1. Title

This Instrument may be cited as the Electoral Commission (Appointment of Date of Completion of Update of Voters' Register in Kyadondo County North Constituency. Wakiso District) Instrument. 2008.

2. Appointment of completion date

The 24th day of October. 2008, is hereby appointed as the date upon which the Commission shall complete the exercise of updating the Voters' Register for purposes of the by-election in Kyadondo County North Constituency. Wakiso District.

3. No application accepted after appointed date

For purposes of paragraph 2 of this Instrument, after the appointed date, no application form from Kyadondo County North Constituency, Wakiso District shall be accepted by the Electoral Commission, seeking- (a) to register as a voter; or (b) to transfer to a new voting location.

THE SUPPLEMENTARY APPROPRIATION ACT, 2008.

An Act to make supplementary appropriation out of the Consolidated Fund under section 16 of the Public Finance and Accountability Act, 2003, of a sum of two hundred twenty six billion, seven hundred fifty five million, six hundred sixty five thousand shillings only to meet additional expenditures for the first, second, third and fourth quarters of the financial year 2007/2008.

Date of Assent: 4th October, 2008

Date of Commencement: 17th October, 2008.

Be it enacted by Parliament as follows:

1. Supplementary appropriation

The supplementary appropriation out of the Consolidated Fund in respect of the first, second, third and fourth quarters of the financial year 2007/2008, for the purposes specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this Act, of the sums respectively specified in column 2 of that Schedule, is hereby allowed and confirmed.

THE APPROPRIATION ACT, 2008.

An Act to apply a sum of five thousand seven hundred and thirty eight billion, four hundred and two million, seventy five thousand shillings out of the Consolidated Fund to the service of the year ending on the 30th June, 2009 and to appropriate the supplies granted.

Date of Commencement: 1st July, 2008.

BE It EnaCtED by Parliament as follows:

1. Commencement

this act shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of July, 2008.

2. Issue of money out of the Consolidated Fund. the treasury may issue out of the Consolidated fund and apply towards the supply granted to the Government for the service of the year ending on the 30th June, 2009, the sum of five thousand seven hundred and thirty eight billion, four hundred and two million, seventy five thousand shillings.

3. Appropriation

the sums granted by this act shall be appropriated for the services and purposes and in the amounts specified in columns 1 and 2 of the schedule to this act.

4. Extension of duration of appropriation

any part of the sums granted by section 2 of this act which has been, or is issued from the Consolidated fund on or before the 30th day of June, 2009 shall be available until a date determined by the secretary to the treasury (not being later than the 31st day of October, 2009) for making payments which become due during the year ending on the 30th day of June, 2009 to an accounting officer or a receiver of revenue or to an officer administering a fund established under section 9 of the Public finance and accountability act, 2003.
