Section 113: Transmission of voters register to political

parties and organisations (1) Notwithstanding section 19 of the Electoral Commission Act- (a) the Electoral Commission shall not be required to provide paper copies of the voters register to registered political parties and organisations in the case of local council elections; and (b) the Electoral Commission shall provide, as soon as practicable after nomination but, in any case, not later than two weeks before the polling day, an updated electronic version of the voters register to political parties and organisations or to an independent nominated candidate participating in the local council elections. (2) For the avoidance of doubt, the voters register in respect of local council elections shall not require photographs.
