(1) The Factories Act, Cap 220 is repealed. (2) Without prejudice to the general effect of the Interpretation Act- (a) any statutory instrument made under the repealed Act and in force immediately before the commencement of this Act, shall, with the necessary modifications, continue in existence as if made under this Act until revoked under this Act; (b) any proceedings pending under the repealed Act before the commencement of this Act may be continued and completed under this Act.
