Section 38 of the principal Act is amended by inserting immediately after section 38, the following new section- "38A. Exchange of information by competent authorities. Competent authorities may exchange information and provide international cooperation both upon request from and spontaneously to foreign counterparts in relation to possible or confirmed money laundering or terrorist financing and any related activity subject to the regulations made under this Act
