Section 194: Power to amend Schedules

(1) The Minister may, by statutory instrument, with the approval of Cabinet, amend Schedule 1 to this Act. (2) The Minister may, by statutory instrument, with the approval of Cabinet, amend Schedules 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 to this Act, and the Minister shall not have power to delegate this function. (3) The Minister shall, as soon as is practicable after the publication of a statutory instrument under subsection (2), cause the instrument to be laid before Parliament, and Parliament may amend or revoke the statutory instrument; and if no amendment or revocation is effected within two weeks of its being laid before Parliament, it shall be deemed to have been approved.
