Section 2: Amendment of Schedule

The Schedule to the Excise Tariff Act is amended as follows- (a) in item 1, by substituting for paragraphs (c), (d), (e) and (f) the following- "(c) soft cup (whose local content is more than 70% of its constituents) Shs. 22,000 per 1000 sticks (d) other soft cup Shs. 25,000 per 1000 sticks (e) hinge Lid Shs. 55,000 per 1000 sticks (f) other 160%"; Act 19 Excise Tariff (Amendment) Act 2011 (b) in item 10, by substituting for paragraph (e) the following- "(e) illuminating kerosene Nil"; (c) by substituting for item 11 the following- "Cane or beet sugar and chemically pure sucrose in solid form Shs. 25 per kg".
