Section 2: The Uganda National Examinations Board

(1) The Uganda National Examinations Board in existence immediately before the commencement of this Act, shall continue in existence, subject to the provisions of this Act. (2) The Examinations Board shall be a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal, and may, for the discharge of its functions under this Act- (a) sue or be sued in its corporate name; (b) purchase, hold, manage and dispose of any property; and (c) enter into such contracts or other transactions, as may be necessary or expedient.
