Section 28: Appeal under section 44 of Act

(1) A person aggrieved by the decision of the authority under section 44 of the Act relating to licensing may file a Notice of Appeal with the Tribunal within seven days from the date of receipt of the decision. (2) The Notice of Appeal referred to in subregulation (1) shall be in Form 1 specified in Schedule 3 to these Regulations. (3) The Notice of Appeal shall state- (a) the names of the parties to the appeal; (b) the date and a brief description of the decision appealed against; and (c) the addresses of the parties to the intended appeal to allow the Registrar to effect proper service. (4) A Notice of Appeal shall be signed by the appellant or his or her representative. (5) The appellant shall serve the Notice of Appeal on the respondent within five days from the date of filing the notice. (6) Proof of service of the Notice of Appeal on the respondent or his or her advocate shall be entered on the record by the Registrar.
