(1) The Explosives Act, Cap. 298 (Revised Edition, 2000) is repealed. (2) A person who, before the commencement of this Act, obtained a licence, permit or written approval under the Explosives Act repealed under subsection (1), shall, within twelve months from the commencement of this Act, apply for a licence or permit in accordance with this Act. (3) Any statutory instrument made under the Explosives Act, repealed under subsection (1) and which is in force immediately before the commencement of this Act, shall remain in force so far as it is not inconsistent with this Act, until it is revoked by a statutory instrument made under this Act.
