Section 51: Power to amend Schedule 1

The Minister may, by statutory instrument, with the approval of Cabinet, amend Schedule 1 to this Act Schedule 1 (Sections 1, 51) Currency Point A currency point is equivalent to twenty thousand shillings. Schedule 2 (Section 3) Oath of member of Electoral Commission I ________ being appointed chairperson/member of the Electoral Commission, swear in the name of the Almighty God/solemnly affirm that I will well and truly exercise the functions of chairperson/member of the Electoral Commission in accordance with the Constitution and the laws of the Republic of Uganda without fear or favour, affection or ill will.
