(1) The Minister may, in consultation with the Council, establish an Emergency Radiological Response Committee. (2) The Committee shall consist of the Secretary and one representative from each of the following- (a) the Ministry responsible for health; (b) the Ministry responsible for information; (c) the Ministry responsible for disaster preparedness; (d) the National Environment Management Authority; (e) the Uganda Peoples' Defence Forces; (f) the Uganda Police Force; (g) the Uganda Prisons Service; and (h) the International Committee of the Red Cross.
