(1) The Authority or lead agency may, for the purposes of carrying out an environmental enforcement audit, enter a project or activity site and- (a) require persons at the project or activity site to participate in the audit; (b) have access to, and interview any employee; (c) examine, make copies of or retain all or any documents and records relating to the design, performance and effects of the project or activity; (d) take samples for analysis; (e) take photographs and make audio or visual recordings; and (f) undertake any other activity necessary for the audit. (2) For the avoidance of doubt, an environmental enforcement audit under subregulation (1) shall be undertaken by an authorised officer.
