Section 73: Application of laws and agreements

(1) For the avoidance of doubt, the laws of Uganda shall be applicable in free zones, except as otherwise provided in this Act. (2) A dispute between a developer and a business enterprise in a free zone shall be under the jurisdiction of a competent court of Uganda. (3) A dispute between the developer and the Authority or between a business enterprise and the Authority shall be under the jurisdiction of a competent court of Uganda. (4) Any dispute referred to in this section may also be settled by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act.
