Section 9: Specialised committees

(1) The council shall set up the following specialised committees for the efficient performance of its functions under this Act- (a) a specialised committee on capacity building; (b) a specialised committee on policy, research, planning and data management; (c) a specialised committee on communication and advocacy; and (d) a specialised committee on finance. (2) The council may also set up such other specialised committees as it may consider necessary for the efficient performance of its functions under this Act. (3) Every specialised committee set up under this section shall consist of five members of the council including a chairperson. (4) The council may prescribe the procedure of a specialised committee.
